The effect of amlodipine on renal function after renal I/R injury. A significant rise was observed in serum creatinine (&&, p < 0.01) and BUN (&&, p < 0.01) levels, 48 h after renal I/R injury. Treatment with amlodipine decreased serum levels of creatinine (*, p < 0.05) and BUN (**, p < 0.01). One-way analysis of variance (ANOVAs) followed by post hoc Tukey’s tests was used to compare the groups. Charts are shown as mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM) (n = 6)
