Effect of paroxetine on GRK2 expression. Upper panel show a representative immunoblot of the GRK2 protein levels in the tissue homogenates of the left ventricle. Lower panel show the quantitative results of the immunoblot analysis. The GRK2 protein expression was normalized to β-actin and the band densities were quantified using ImageJ software. All data are expressed as means ± SEM (n = 4). Differences between groups were determined using a one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s post hoc test. Statistically significant changes compared to the untreated MI rats are indicated with * (P < 0.05), or *** (P < 0.001).
